The writer settled in the vicinity of Santarém and relished the pleasures of living in the countryside, vividly described in "Cartas de Vale de Lobos."

Located in the main building, overlooking the river Tagus and its meadowland. It has a four poster double bed, fireplace and fully equipped bathroom fitted with a jacuzzi double bath. Decorated with pictures of Santarém's monuments and the writer's works.
