The poet lived
in the Casa da Alcáçova towards the end of the 18th century,
where he composed some of his satirical and erotic sonnets.
Located in the
main building, overlooking the river Tagus and its meadowland. It has a
King José double bed, fireplace and fully equipped bathroom
fitted with a jacuzzi bath. Decorated with pictures and oil paintings.
